Method of Preparation:
Combine the parmesan, bread crumbs and butter. Blend and press the mixture into the bottom of a small springform pan.
Heat the oil in large skillet. Add the onions, yellow and red bell peppers and sauté for 2 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Beat the cream cheese with the eggs in a large bowl until thick and frothy (about 5 minutes). Beat in the cream, mozzarella, sautéed vegetables and crabmeat. Mix thoroughly until creamy.
Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan and bake at 350°F until firm (50 minutes to 1 hour). Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature before serving.
